ACFS Announces Freedom from Student Loans Scholarship Campaign

St. Petersburg, FL September 18, 2004 -- ACFS (American Collegiate Financial Services), a marketing company for federal consolidation student loans, announced today the launch of its Freedom from Student Loans scholarship campaign. The scholarships will be available to students and parents of students attending accredited colleges or universities nationwide.

The first four scholarships total $5,000 each and will be distributed to one applicant from each of the four categories: Undergrad, Graduate, Doctorate and Parent. Only parents of students currently enrolled in higher education institutions will qualify.

"ACFS designed the Freedom from Student Loans scholarship campaign as a way to relieve today's students feeling the burden of student loans and other worries associated with financing school. For this reason, the application process is extremely easy and actually fun," said Nicole Knight, Director of Marketing at ACFS.

Applicants must complete an online application form and answer a short essay question – "Student Loans: Friend or Foe?" The winner will be selected based on the originality and content of the short essay response.

ACFS will host multiple scholarship contests throughout the year. Each scholarship will total between $5,000 and $10,000. To apply or to view more contest information, students and parents may visit www.OneStudentLoan.com. "Until then," Knight states, "Have fun with this one. Originality will decide."
