Amersfoort, The Netherlands August, 2003 -- STATER, one of Europe's leading independent providers in the private mortgage management sector, today announces that as from July 2003 the servicing of the former Tiel Utrecht portfolio of 7,100 loans has been transferred to STATER Nederland. NIB Capital N.V. acquired a considerable portion of these loans from Tiel Utrecht, which merged with Goudse Verzekeringen N.V. at the start of 2001.

"We want to focus on the activities we are best at, such as financial transactions, and concern ourselves as little as possible with the administration of mortgage loan portfolios. That is why we turned to STATER which specialise in this kind of work," says Hans Joris Coebergh, an associate of NIB Capital Bank.

The acquisition of the Tiel Utrecht portfolio by NIB Capital Bank is an example of the sale of a mortgage loan portfolio. Although a Whole Loan Sales transaction of this kind has become relatively common in the USA and the UK, it is only now increasing in the Netherlands. In addition to offering administrative support throughout the entire lifetime of the mortgage, STATER also offers support to its clients for this type of transaction.
